Petohra Legal

Terms of Service

The terms for using Petohra, creating AI pet cards, purchasing credits and downloading digital artwork.

Effective date: July 22, 2026

Important policies

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. About Petohra

Petohra is operated by Petohra.

Registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 89384113. VAT number: NL004723226B28.

For customer support, legal questions or business inquiries, please contact us at petohra.business@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Petohra website, your account, AI-generated pet cards, credits and digital downloads.

By creating an account, purchasing credits or digital content, or otherwise using Petohra, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

Any additional information provided during checkout, including product details, pricing, digital delivery information and applicable withdrawal rights, also forms part of your agreement with Petohra.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases through Petohra. If you are under 18, you may use Petohra only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You confirm that the information you provide when creating an account or making a purchase is accurate, current and complete.

4. Accounts

You may need an account to generate, save, purchase and download Petohra cards.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity performed through your account. You must notify us promptly if you believe that your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not create accounts using false information, impersonate another person, sell or transfer your account, or use multiple accounts to avoid payment or usage restrictions.

We may restrict, suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe that these Terms have been violated, fraud or abuse has occurred, or continued access presents a security or legal risk.

5. Uploaded Photos and User Content

You retain ownership of the photographs and other content you upload to Petohra.

You confirm that you own the uploaded content or have all necessary rights and permissions to use it. You must not upload content that infringes another person's privacy, copyright, trademark or other legal rights.

You grant Petohra a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process, copy, resize, store and transmit your uploaded content solely as necessary to operate the service, generate AI pet cards, provide your purchased digital content, prevent fraud or abuse, improve the reliability of the service and provide customer support.

You must not upload content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, exploitative, deceptive or otherwise harmful. We reserve the right to reject or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. AI-Generated Petohra Cards

Petohra uses artificial intelligence to create artistic fantasy interpretations based on uploaded pet photographs and the selections you provide.

AI-generated results can vary. We do not guarantee an exact resemblance, a particular composition, complete visual accuracy or that every generated result will meet your personal expectations.

Minor differences, artistic variations and unexpected visual details are inherent to AI-generated artwork and do not automatically mean that the service is defective.

This does not affect any mandatory rights you may have when digital content is materially defective, unavailable or not provided as agreed.

7. Credits

Credits are digital units that can be used to generate Petohra cards. The number of credits required for a generation is displayed before you confirm the generation.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between users and cannot be resold or exchanged outside Petohra.

A credit is normally consumed when a generation request is successfully submitted for processing. If a generation fails because of a verified technical problem with Petohra and no usable result is delivered, we may restore the affected credit.

If a generation completes successfully but the artistic result does not match your personal preference, the used credit will not normally be restored. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Unused credits remain subject to applicable consumer law and our Refund Policy.

8. Prices and Payments

Current prices are displayed on the website or during checkout before you confirm a purchase.

We will clearly display the total amount payable, including any applicable taxes, before payment is completed.

Payments are securely processed by Stripe or another payment provider shown during checkout. Petohra does not store your full payment card details.

A purchase is not completed until payment has been successfully authorised and you receive a confirmation from us.

We may refuse or cancel a transaction if payment cannot be verified, a pricing error has occurred, fraud or abuse is suspected, or we are unable to provide the purchased digital product.

If we cancel a paid purchase before delivering the digital product, any payment received will be refunded to the original payment method.

9. Digital Content and Downloads

Petohra provides digital products, including AI-generated pet cards and downloadable high-resolution digital artwork.

Where required by applicable law, before the immediate delivery of paid digital content begins, you may be asked to expressly consent to the immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you will lose your statutory right of withdrawal once delivery has started.

If such consent and acknowledgement are required by law but have not been obtained, your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

You are responsible for downloading and securely storing your purchased digital content. While we aim to keep your purchased content accessible through your account, we do not guarantee permanent storage unless explicitly stated.

If you are unable to access or download purchased digital content due to a technical issue, please contact petohra.business@gmail.com. We will investigate the issue and, where appropriate, restore access to your digital content or provide a refund in accordance with applicable law and our Refund Policy.

10. Licence for Personal Use

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Petohra grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use your generated and purchased card artwork for private, non-commercial purposes.

You may download, display, print and share your own Petohra card for personal use.

You may not resell generated artwork, use it as a trademark, offer it as a competing product, reproduce it commercially or remove Petohra branding for commercial exploitation without our prior written permission.

The Petohra name, logo, website design, software, card templates and other platform materials remain owned by Petohra or its licensors.

11. Cancellations, Withdrawal and Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase, whether digital content has been supplied and whether applicable statutory withdrawal rights still apply.

Consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from certain distance contracts within 14 days. This right may not apply once the delivery of digital content has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement, where permitted by applicable law.

To request a cancellation, withdrawal or refund, please contact petohra.business@gmail.com and include your account email, payment reference and a description of your request.

Further details about our refund process can be found in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy limits or removes any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Third-Party Services

Petohra relies on third-party providers for services such as authentication, hosting, artificial-intelligence processing, payments and image storage.

These providers may apply their own terms and privacy policies to their services.

We remain responsible for our own obligations to you and do not use third-party involvement to exclude responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Petohra is not responsible for third-party services that you access independently and that are not supplied as part of your Petohra purchase.

13. Prohibited Use

You must not use Petohra for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful purposes.

You must not attempt to bypass credits, payment systems or access restrictions; interfere with website security; introduce malware; scrape the service excessively; reverse engineer protected systems; automate requests without permission; or disrupt the experience of other users.

You must not use generated content to impersonate, harass, defame or deceive another person, or in any way that violates applicable law.

14. Availability and Changes to the Service

We aim to keep Petohra available and reliable, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.

We may perform maintenance, correct errors, update features, change service providers or temporarily suspend functionality where reasonably necessary.

We may change or discontinue features, but we will not intentionally remove access to an already-paid product without providing an appropriate remedy where required by law.

15. Limitation of Liability

Petohra is provided with reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petohra is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity or damage resulting from misuse of the service.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, our total liability relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

16. Events Outside Our Control

Petohra is not responsible for delays, interruptions or failures in providing the service that are caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These may include major internet outages, payment network failures, cyberattacks, strikes, natural disasters, government actions or failures of essential third-party infrastructure.

Where reasonably possible, we will take appropriate steps to minimise the impact of such events, restore access to our services and digital content, or provide a refund where required by applicable law.

17. Complaints

If you have a complaint about Petohra or any of our digital products or services, please contact us at petohra.business@gmail.com.

Please include your account email, payment reference (if applicable), a clear description of the issue and the resolution you are seeking.

We will review your complaint as soon as reasonably possible and may request additional information if needed to investigate the matter. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable consumer law.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

If you are a consumer living in another country, this choice of law does not remove any mandatory consumer protection granted to you by the law of your country of residence.

Disputes may be submitted to the competent Dutch courts, without limiting any mandatory right a consumer may have to bring proceedings elsewhere.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, our products, our providers or applicable legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

Material changes will apply prospectively. Where reasonably required, we will notify registered users before material changes take effect.

20. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

A failure by Petohra to enforce a provision immediately does not mean that we waive the right to enforce it later.
