Every pet has ahidden Aura.
Three days after a meteor struck the Earth, pets around the world began to change.
Some became stronger. Some became dangerous. A few developed powers nobody could explain.

The Awakening
It started with one impact.
At first, it appeared to be nothing more than another meteorite buried deep inside an isolated mountain range.
Scientists travelled to the crater expecting to recover an ordinary piece of space rock. Nothing about the first tests suggested that the impact had changed anything beyond the surrounding landscape.
Three days later, the first reports appeared. Pets that had always been gentle became restless. Others showed impossible speed, strength or awareness.
Then some stopped recognising the people they had trusted their entire lives.
The reports spread from one town to another until it became impossible to dismiss them as isolated incidents.
The world eventually gave the event a name.
They called it The Awakening.
The mystery
No one understood why some pets became far more powerful than others.
For some pets, the changes were almost invisible. Sharper instincts. Faster reactions. A strange glow in their eyes.
Others developed abilities that seemed to break every known law of nature.
Scientists searched the crater for answers, but every discovery created new questions.
Some Awakenings became legends.
The Keeper
Power alone is not enough.
An awakened pet needs more than strength. It needs someone who understands when to act, when to wait and when to pull it back from the edge.
That person is known as the Keeper.

Every Aura follows a different path.
An Aura Type determines the nature of a pet's abilities and the way it uses its power.

Silent, elusive and difficult to predict. Shadow pets rely on precision, deception and sudden attacks.
Mystic
Attuned to unseen energy and ancient mysteries. Mystic pets influence perception, focus and Aura energy.
Lightning
Fast, explosive and charged with restless energy. Lightning pets overwhelm opponents before they can react.
Chaos
Unstable, fierce and driven by raw emotion. Chaos pets are dangerous because their true limits are unpredictable.
Force
Defined by strength, impact and momentum. Force pets break through resistance with overwhelming physical power.
Aura rarity
Not every Awakening reaches the same level.
Rarity reflects the strength and intensity of an awakened Aura. It never determines the value of the bond between pet and Keeper.
